Sports Medicine

As professional sports teams continue to thrive in Las Vegas, our program offers students a direct pathway into the high-demand fields of sports health and rehabilitation. Students train in state-of-the-art facilities, gaining the clinical insights necessary to support elite athletes and active communities alike.

Students in this program move beyond the classroom to gain hands-on experience in the rapidly expanding Nevada sports industry.

HOSA – Future Health Professionals: As a core Career & Technical Student Organization (CTSO), HOSA allows students to apply their classroom knowledge in competitive events and leadership workshops.

Regional & State Leadership Conferences: Our science students participate in multi-day events featuring medical skills competitions, networking with healthcare practitioners, and opportunities to advance to national-level symposiums.

According to the HOSA website:

HOSA provides a unique program of leadership development, motivation, and recognition exclusively for secondary, postsecondary, middle school, adult, and collegiate students enrolled in health science education and biomedical science programs or have interests in pursuing careers in health professions. HOSA is 100% health care! Since its inception in 1976, HOSA has grown steadily reaching over 350,000 members through 56 chartered HOSA Associations, American Samoa, Canada, China, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and Vietnam.
