Finance & Business
Our Finance and Business program empowers future leaders and entrepreneurs through a curriculum of financial management, accounting, and strategic planning. By bridging the gap between theory and practice, students engage in immersive simulations and collaborative projects with local industry partners.

Beyond the classroom, students are encouraged to sharpen their competitive edge through Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA). This organization offers exclusive opportunities for growth and networking, including the State Business Leadership Conference (SBLC): A flagship multi-day event held each spring. Students participate in high-stakes competitions, attend leadership workshops, and network with industry icons, with top-tier performers qualifying for the National Leadership Conference (NLC).
As explained on the Nevada FBLA website:
Each year, nearly 7,500 business educators at the collegiate, high school, and middle school/junior high levels make FBLA a powerful tool for teaching business leadership to the next generation of entrepreneurs and executives. FBLA is a global leader in Career Technical Education (CTE). Founded in 1942, FBLA is the second oldest of all Career Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs) after The National FFA Organization (Founded in 1928).
