Education & Leadership
Our Education & Leadership program is designed for students who are passionate about shaping the future through teaching and mentorship. This pathway provides a comprehensive foundation for leading in diverse academic environments, from early childhood centers to higher education institutions.

Students in this program transition from being learners to being leaders through hands-on practice and professional networking.
Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA): Students are encouraged to join this national CTSO, which focuses on the family as the unit of society. Through FCCLA, students participate in "STAR Events" (Students Taking Action with Recognition) in categories like Early Childhood Education and Teach & Train.
State Leadership Conferences: These multi-day events allow aspiring teachers and leaders to showcase their instructional skills, attend workshops on human development, and connect with university recruiters and community partners.

According to the FCCLA website:
FCCLA offers programs, contests, scholarships, and opportunities for members to develop real world skills, become college- and career-ready, and make a difference in families, careers, and communities.
