Cyber Defense & Advanced Computing
In an era of increasing digital vulnerability, this program equips students with the sophisticated tools needed to protect the world’s most critical networks and systems. Our curriculum balances the high-level theory of advanced computing with the high-stakes practice of modern cybersecurity.

Students in this program go beyond the textbook by engaging in real-world scenarios and professional technical organizations.

National Cyber League (NCL): Students are encouraged to participate in this premier "cybersecurity gym." The NCL provides a safe, virtual environment for students to practice solving real-world security challenges, such as cryptography, web application exploitation, and digital forensics.
According to the National Cyber League website:
Since 2015, The National Cyber League, Inc has partnered with Cyber Skyline, Inc. to develop, host, and operate the NCL Competition. In that time, the NCL Competition has grown to serve more than 17,000 students annually, representing over 500 colleges and high schools across the U.S.
