Biomedical Science
Our Biomedical Sciences program offers a comprehensive, interdisciplinary education designed for aspiring healthcare professionals, researchers, and industry leaders. Students dive deep into the complexities of human biology and disease mechanisms, mastering the cutting-edge technologies that drive modern medical research and diagnostics.

To complement their rigorous academic studies, students are encouraged to engage in specialized organizations and off-site experiences that prepare them for the medical field.
HOSA – Future Health Professionals: As a core Career & Technical Student Organization (CTSO), HOSA allows students to apply their classroom knowledge in competitive events and leadership workshops.
Regional & State Leadership Conferences: Our science students participate in multi-day events featuring medical skills competitions, networking with healthcare practitioners, and opportunities to advance to national-level symposiums.

According to the HOSA website:
HOSA provides a unique program of leadership development, motivation, and recognition exclusively for secondary, postsecondary, middle school, adult, and collegiate students enrolled in health science education and biomedical science programs or have interests in pursuing careers in health professions. HOSA is 100% health care! Since its inception in 1976, HOSA has grown steadily reaching over 350,000 members through 56 chartered HOSA Associations, American Samoa, Canada, China, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and Vietnam.
