Civil Engineering
Our Civil Engineering program challenges students to solve the complex infrastructure problems of the 21st century. From designing resilient bridges to managing urban water systems, students gain the technical mastery and ethical oversight required to shape the physical world around them.

Students transition from theoretical math to practical application through rigorous competition and industry-standard projects.
SkillsUSA: Students are encouraged to join this premier CTSO to compete in high-stakes events such as Architectural Drafting, Engineering Technology, and Surveying.
State Leadership & Skills Conferences: These multi-day events allow aspiring engineers to showcase their design portfolios, attend technical workshops with licensed P.E. (Professional Engineers), and connect with top-tier engineering firms and university recruiters.
As explained on the SkillsUSA website:
Representing more than 2,000 Career and Technical Education students and teachers, our mission is accomplished through the SkillsUSA Framework of Personal Skills, Workplace Skills and Technical Skills Grounded in Academics, which is integrated into classroom curriculum. SkillsUSA students hone their hands-on skills against current industry standards in more than 100 occupational areas, from 3D Animation to Welding and nearly everything in between. At the same time, they develop the transformative career-readiness skills — teamwork, communication, professionalism, leadership and more — that fuel career and life success. SkillsUSA has served over 15 million diverse, difference-making members since 1965.
