School Payment System Transition: SchoolCash Online to MySchoolBucks

At South CTA, we are committed to making the process of paying for student fees, field trips, and school gear as convenient as possible. We are excited to announce that South CTA is one of 24 schools that have been selected to conduct an early launch of the MySchoolBucks (by Heartland School Solutions) payment platform!

This new platform is more user-friendly and features a dedicated mobile app for payments on the go. Please review the transition schedule below to ensure you don't miss important deadlines for course fees and other school items.

📅 Important Dates & Deadlines

Please take note of these upcoming deadlines to ensure your student’s fees and requirements are handled on time:
  • April 24th: Last day for In-Person Credit Card or Tap-to-Pay payments.
  • April 27th: Last day for Online payments via SchoolCash Online.
    • After this date, items will be removed from the online portal, and only CASH will be accepted in person.
  • April 30th: Our school’s final day on the SchoolCash Online platform.
  • April 30th – May 5th: BLACKOUT PERIOD. No payments (Cash, Card, Check, or Online) can be accepted while we migrate to the new system.
  • May 5th: MySchoolBucks goes LIVE. You can begin adding your students to your new account.

📌 What You Need to Know

  • Finalize SchoolCash Online Payments: Please clear any outstanding fees before April 27. You will still be able to log in to SchoolCash Online after this date to view your payment history, but you will not be able to make new payments for South CTA students.
  • Accessing History: You will still be able to log into your SchoolCash Online account to view your past payment history.
  • Other CCSD Schools: If you have students at other CCSD schools, you will continue to use SchoolCash Online for them. Only South CTA and 23 other schools are transitioning early; the rest of the district will follow this summer.
  • The Blackout Period: From April 30th to May 5th, our banking office will be unable to process any transactions while we migrate our data to the new system. This includes Cash, Card, and Check transactions.

🚀 Get Ready for MySchoolBucks

We encourage parents to get ahead by creating their profiles now so you are ready to go once the system is live.
  1. Visit: myschoolbucks.com or download the MySchoolBucks app from your app store.
  2. Create Profile: Set up your parent/guardian user profile today.
  3. Add Students: You will be able to search for and add your student(s) to your profile starting 5th.
